Enouraging words from a friend seeking Jesus...

"For over a month, my radio in my car has been on the christian radio station. They have some good songs and lots of good preachers giving lectures on the scriptures. Its truly awesome. It's amazing how God came down to earth and His son Jesus was flesh and bone like we are and never once sinned. He was the lowliest person on earth. A bond slave which was the lowest servant that cleansed the people's feet so they could take their place at the table for dinner. He didn't come down here on earth to be a ruler, and King, a high ranking military man nor a Caesar. He was so radical that he caused a revolution and was chastised, ridiculed and then killed like a lowly criminal. Wow! We live in a world where it's "cool" to be number one, to have wealth, to succeed at work with a high position, to be a celebrity, etc. But yet God sees more beauty, truth and honor in the lowliest people that are humble. Now that's a great gift from God--to be perfect in humility. It's weird that we live in this kind of world, aye?"
